Province invests almost $6.5 million for Critical Health Care

Investment is to support critical care infrastructure upgrades, repairs and maintenance of hospitals serving Huron-Bruce

The Ontario Government is investing close to $6.5 million this year to support critical health care infrastructure upgrades, repairs and maintenance in hospitals serving Huron-Bruce residents.

MPP for Huron-Bruce Lisa Thompson says of the investment that the funds are greatly needed by our hospitals to help them continue to provide excellent health care to residents. She adds that while ti is not an area often noticed by the general public, repairing and upgrading hospital infrastructure is vital to the overall health care system.

The investments to area hospitals through the health infrastructure renewal include:

Wingham and District Hospital $704,335
Alexandra Marine & General Hospital $433,395
Seaforth Community Hospital $410,296
Clinton Public Hospital $407,407
Grey Bruce Health Services (includes Southampton) $1,986,129
South Bruce Grey Health Centre $1,376,429

 

The Ontario Government is also investing $20,788 to the Canadian MEntal Health Association, Grey Bruce Branch.
