With the air quality still an issue locally, Grey Bruce Public Health is dishing out tips to protect yourself.
While the heat wave has tempered, poor air quality caused by wildfire smoke coming from northwestern Ontario has brought in the air quality statement.
Air quality could see improvements come Friday with the general population asked to reduce or reschedule outdoor activities, especially if experiencing symptoms such as coughing and throat irritation.
Those considered at risk such as with heart or breathing problems are asked to avoid outdoor activity.
People more likely to be impacted by wildfire smoke include those aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, and people with an existing illness or chronic health condition.
