One person is facing multiple charges in a counterfeit currency investigation.
On July 14th West Grey Police responded to someone trying to use counterfeit cash at a local business in West Grey.
Officers found a man matching the description given in a parking lot of a gas station trying to start a motorcycle.
Police confirmed the mans identity and found they were prohibited from driving.
The individual was arrested with a search also found a black crossbody bag which had an imitation bb handgun, cocaine and an amount of counterfeit cash consisting of $50 notes.
The accused was charged with Uttering Counterfeit Money, Operation While Prohibited, Possession of Imitation Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and Possession of a Schedule I Substance.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
