There is a public information session in Wiarton about a proposed salmon farm.
It is being organized by Georgian Bay Salmon.
The session will cover the project conception and description, opportunities for the region, an environmental studies update, and plans for community engagement.
The salmon farm is to be built on a property on 83 Berford Lake Road near Colpoy’s Bay.
The first of two sessions go this Thursday night between 6 and 8 at the Wiarton Propeller Club on Edward Street.
Another is happening next Tuesday night from 6 to 8 also at the propeller club.
