A quilting group from Aintree Trailer Park raised $1,500 in support of the Kincardine hospital, in their 20th year donating to the local health care foundation.
The Quilters of Aintree gather every Monday morning during the summer to create one full size and crib size quilt. For the last 20 years, the quilts have been raffled off at the end of the summer, with proceeds going to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation.
To mark this year’s anniversary, the quilters also donated a wall hanging to the draw.
The foundation sent their thanks to quilters Jack Nancekivell, Pat Usher, Pat Walker and Joanne Farrell and Fernanda Mosca, as well as the proprietors of the Aintree Trailer Park.
