The ribbon has been cut at a new subdivision in Kincardine.
The Golf Sands subdivision is now up and running off Golf Links Road in town which features 33 residential units.
This development has single family homes, townhomes and semi detached units on the grounds of the Kincardine Golf and Country Club.
Keith Battler, Broker for Royal LePage says this new addition is the right step forward to make housing more affordable.
“We have places for people that want to move up or down, places for them to move and it brings more resale homes onto the market and in general just brings more homes to Kincardine and try to make affordability for everybody” said Battler.
Mayor Kenneth Craig says its important to have adequate supply and a variety of housing options to meet growing demand.
