Rifle season for deer hunting in Bruce County will return on Monday, running until November 9th.
Hunters and recreation users are encouraged to take steps to be safe and enjoy the season.
Hunters are reminded to avoid trails in areas with active use, be aware you could be sharing the forest with other hunters and never shoot unless you are certain of your target and what’s beyond it.
Trail users should avoid using the trails at dusk and dawn, wear high visibility clothing or hunter orange and reminded of County by laws which require all pets to be on a leash while using County forests.
