The Community Foundation of Grey Bruce has exceeding over one million dollars in grants to the community this year.
This has included 40 recipients of Community Grants and 11 of Capital Grants.
Over $171,000 has been given out in this recent round of grants and $149,000 in capital.
Executive Director, Stuart Reed says they are so proud of the excellent work of local agencies with grants that are generated by community philanthropy.
Since its inception in 1994, the Community Foundation ha granted over $9.5 million in community well being through annual grants and disbursements.
