Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation Sees Generous Donation from Area Family

Story of Angel Family is given and how in 2011, in the 7th month of her pregnancy of her late son Liam they discovered on an ultrasound that he had severe hypoplastic left heart syndrome.

The Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation shared a story on Monday of a worker at the hospital in Southampton and the fact that they had made an extra special donation to the CT Scanner campaign.

In the post the story of Katie Angel is given and how in 2018, in the 7th month of her pregnancy of her late son Liam they discovered on an ultrasound that he had severe hypoplastic left heart syndrome.

The follow-up that is described in the hours, days, weeks, and months is a tale of compassion and concern that all of the organizations including the hospital in Southampton gave the family the best medical care they could.

Liam was born on July 4th, 2018, and passed on September 1st.

The family recently donated $3,000 to the Bring Tom To Town CT Scanner campaign in hopes that it can detect abnormalities.
