The Mayor of Saugeen Shores got a good look at some of the destruction caused by Tuesday’s violent storm.

Luke Charbonneau says crews were working to clean up the debris and restore power to several homes.

Charbonneau says he went out moments after the storm had passed to talk to residents and businesses.

He says he is glad no one was seriously hurt and plans to reach out to upper levels of government for emergency assistance.
