We are profiling the candidates running for the Huron Bruce seat in the federal election.
Jan Johnstone is the New Democrat candidate.
She is currently a Bluewater District School Board Trustee for Kincardine and Huron-Kinloss.
Johnstone also ran for the NDP in the 2018 provincial election coming in second behind Lisa Thompson.
She says her background in public education gives her an advantage.

Johnstone is running against Conservative incumbent Ben Lobb, James Rice for the Liberals, Jack Stecho of the People’s Party, and independent candidate Justin L Smith.
