South Bruce OPP investigating Fatal Collision Yesterday in Carrick Township

Incident was around 12:32 pm on Highway 9 with two vehicles involved. One driver was pronounced deceased at the scene with the other reporting no injuries.

The South Bruce OPP are investigating a fatal collision that occurred Thursday afternoon around 12:32 pm.

Officers, as well as members of South Bruce Fire and Bruce County EMS responded to the scene along Highway 9 in Carrick Township to find two vehicles involved.

One driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The other driver reported no injuries at the scene.

The OPP is continuing to investigate the collision with the assistance of the Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team and the Coroner’s Office.

Highway 9 was closed between Concession 10 and 14 during the investigation.

The investigation is in its early stages.
