Three Paddleboarders Rescued and Charged on Lake Huron

Saugeen Shores Police are reminding those paddleboarding, you need your life jacket.

On July 10th, police, OPP and the Saugeen Shores Fire Department were called to assist with a water rescue on Lake Huron just after 9pm.

Three youth were out on paddleboards but began to drift away from shore. None of the those on paddleboards had a life jacket or PFD.

All three youth were safely brought back to shore and charged with Operating a Human Power Pleasure Craft Without a Personal Flotation Device or Lifejacket.
