The Town of Saugeen Shores say they are limited on what they can comment and provide given the current steps for the Cedar Crescent Village project.
Over the last several years, the town has worked to facilitate progress on the construction of Cedar Crescent Village which has included the extension of key deadlines.
Despite the efforts made, the project hasn’t advanced as required by contractual documents and the February 2nd construction milestone was not reached.
The town currently is taking steps to assert its rights under the Lease and Site Works & Servicing Agreement which includes the town’s right to terminate the lease.
The town says the next steps involve court intervention, limited comments and no other details can be provided at this time.
