Employees at the Town of Saugeen Shores could have more options on where they can work.
Council at Monday’s Committee of the Whole approved a staff report that would see the Town adopt a flexible work arrangement policy.
That would include staff working from home or at the office, or a combination of both depending on the nature of the work.
Mayor Luke Charbonneau says this policy was based on the experience during the pandemic.
Charbonneau says residents should not expect to see changes in the level of service whether it is over the phone, email, or dropping into the municipal office in person.
