United Way Holding Disability Awareness and Confidence Training Session

United Way Bruce Grey is partnering with Life Directions and the Ontario Disability Employment Network, bringing a Disability Awareness and Confidence Training session to Owen Sound later this month.

The training is designed to help employers, nonprofit organizations, service providers, board members and community leaders build the knowledge and confidence needed to create more accessible and inclusive workplaces.

Francesca Dobbyn, Executive Director of United Way Bruce Grey says this training is an opportunity for employers, service providers and community leaders to challenge assumptions, learn practical approaches to inclusion and recognize the valuable contributions people with disabilities bring to workplaces and communities.

The session is being held September 23rd.
