Huron County has named Denise Van Amersfoort as the Director of Planning and Economic Development.
Denise brings a list of experience as a registered professional planner with a masters of science in rural planning and development from the University of Guelph.
Since joining Huron County in 2018, Denise has held senior positions, most recently the Manager of Planning.
In a release, Denise says she looks forward to working closely with community members, business leaders and elected officials to support the continued growth and prosperity of Huron County.
