West Grey has approved its 2026 budget with a plan of investing in service stability and long term infrastructure needs.
This year process marked a chapter for West Grey being the first budget under Ontario’s Strong Mayor framework.
Part of the 2026 budget includes capital repairs to the Neustadt branch of the West Grey Public Library, Phase 2 of the South Street reconstruction in Durham, the reconstruction or rehabilitation of around 7km of rural roads and a Fire Masterplan.
These projects are among just a selection of the many planned in the 2026 budget.
