Keeping with age old tradition when a fire department gets a new truck for its fleet, the Durham station with West Grey Fire held a pushing in ceremony this past weekend.
On Saturday, firefighters, council members and the public celebrated the new vehicle with the push in and mark the special occasion.
Phil Shwartz, Chief of the West Grey Fire Department says the ceremony isn’t just about a new truck, its about community, history and our continued commitment to safety and service.
The new truck is equipped with the latest firefighting technology and safety features, significantly enhancing the departments emergency response capabilities.
