All eyes will be on Wiarton Willie this morning with the 70th annual Wiarton Willie celebration for Groundhog Day.
Fireworks will ring out at 7am with the official prediction of a longer winter or early spring coming at 8:07am taking place at the future town hall site on William Street in town better known as the former Sobey’s parking lot.
The morning is complete with free swag from the town, free breakfast and hot drinks.
