The newly formed Wingham Historical Group shared word that the next meeting for them would be 2:30 pm on Wednesday, March 8th at the Alice Munro Library in Wingham.
Among things they’ll be a chance to see at the meeting is the old 1949 black & white silent movie entitled “Stars of Wingham” which includes buildings and people on Josephine Street.
They will also showcase some of Jodi Jerome’s photos and research on businesses in the area of the time and hear a dramatic reading of 2 of Audrey McKague’s stories “Dating and Romance in the 1950’s in Wingham” and Radio – Theatre of the Mind”.
Everyone is invited.
