The Huron Hospice is gearing up next month for the 9th annual Butterfly Release.
Taking place on August 24th in the gardens of the Bender House, the event brings families together to honour loved ones through the release of butterflies.
The afternoon will include a ceremony where the names of loved ones will be read aloud in a heartfelt tribute with participants able to release their butterflies at the event or at a special place of personal significance.
Proceeds from the release will help fund hospice palliative care, grief and bereavement services for families across Huron County.
