A local Goderich Highschool student, Ethan Chisholm, plans to spend his upcoming March Break by undertaking various humanitarian projects in Zanzibar in the United Republic of Tanzania.
He tells us more about the work he will be doing with local schools there.
“A big part of this will be education at the local schools, the local villages and getting the message across. I’ll only be there for only 9 days so its important the locals keep up the work once I am gone.”
He also says he will be taking reef samples and working with a marine biologist while there.
Ethan has setup a fundraising page to help assist him in the cost of taking part in the program as well as a donation in support of conservation in Zanzibar.
