The Bruce Grey Poverty Task Force is bringing back volunteer income tax clinics to those to take advantage of benefits available to them.

The tax program continues to be a key program to help reduce poverty and strenghten income security across the region with more than $10.4 million in refunds and benefits to local residents last year.

Free tax clinics are being offered at multiple locations in Grey and Bruce with residents being able to find one close to them by dialing 211.

Jill Umbach with the Bruce Grey Poverty Task Force says tax filing is one of the most powerful and underused poverty reduction tools we have.
