With the recent arrival of summer also comes the realization that a bounty of fresh produce is in season for Huron County residents and beyond to enjoy on their family’s dinner table.

Goderich’s own Maitland Market Suppy has shelves overflowing with freshly picked fruits and vegetables that are grown nearby or in some cases in their backyard. Co-Owner Erika Schulthuis tells us what we can find.

“We have green onions, new potatoes, fresh beets, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce galore, spinach, rhubarb, which pairs nicely with strawberries.”

You can find Maitland Market & Supply just outside Goderich’s town limits at 79988 Porters Hill Line.
