A Bentinck Township man has pled guilty who was illegally hunting deer in Owen Sound.
The Ministry of Natural Resources say the man was fined $6500 and suspended from hunting for two years where it was found the man between December 12th-December 22nd 2024 was hunting deer without a licence.
A conservation officer located tree stands and cell cameras overlooking deposited corn in the area of the mans residence with an officer also finding concealed hunting equipment including a crossbow and bolts in one of the tree stands.
