South Bruce OPP are now equipped with body cameras.
This continues to build on the OPP’s commitment to adopting tools and technologies to improve quality of evidence, enhance accountability and transparency and support the safety of both the public and officers.
These cameras will be worn on the front of the officer’s vest and will be visible to anyone an officer might be interacting with.
The camera will display a visible green ring with flashing lights when on standby with a flashing red to indicate a start of recording.
The full deployment of the cameras across South Bruce is expected soon.
