The Blyth Festival is preparing to hold its biggest seasonof local theatre yet on June 14th.
Festival Artistic Director Gil Garratt explains.
“We will actually have 7 shows on this summer. Out at the Fairgorunds there will be an Epic you don’t want to miss, “The Donnellys: A Trilogy” by James Reaney.
It tells the entire Donnelly epic. Indoors at Memorial Hall we have an incredible lineup of new plays. New premiers. Hilarious comedies.”
The Blyth Festival kicks off June 14th with “Liars at a Funeral” by Sophia Fabiilli in Memorial Hall.
The Harvest Stage at the Blyth Fairgrounds opens June 22nd with “Sticks and Stones” by James Reaney. Adapted and abridged by Gil Garratt
