Georgian College Grey-Bruce campus in Owen Sound is set to host a “Try a Trade” event on March 29th.
The event from 5 to 7 pm will allow future students and their supports to visit their campus and explore the skilled trades lab spaces with hands-on activities, networking and meet local employers who are seeking graduates of the programs.
There are over 500 apprentices on campus each year and hundreds taking part in the 8-month welding, electric, carpentry and construction techniques programs.
