The Grey Bruce Health Unit is seeking the public’s help finding the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident that occurred on Saturday in Sauble Beach.

Around 5:30 p.m. on July 30, a man was bitten by a bulldog-like mix, with brindle-colouring and jowls. It happened at the north end of the beach, near the Sauble River.

Grey Bruce Health Unit staff needs to confirm the dog is not infectious with rabies. By verifying the health of the dog, the victim can avoid receiving the post-exposure rabies treatment.
