The Huron County Museum is kicking off a new community oral history initiative aimed to help preserve local stories and lived experiences.
The Oral History Project with the museum will have hands on community workshops over the winter, teaching participants how to plan and conduct their own oral histories.
Two virtual sessions are being held on January 22nd and February 19th with an in person on February 5th.
This initiative focuses on collecting memories and expertise which deepens stories behind objects in the Museum’s collection.
