With the weather starting to warm up, motorists could be seeing more golf cars on municipal roads in Huron Kinloss.

Year two of the ten-year pilot project is underway.

South Bruce OPP Inspector Krista Miller and Constable Kevin Martin were on the Shoreline Classics Tuesday morning (5th) to remind users of these vehicles that the golf cars must first be registered with the Township before they can be driven on roads.

Martin adds drivers must also follow certain rules of the road.

Miller says a golf car is different than a low-speed vehicle where there are certain safety requirements that a low-speed vehicle must have that do not apply to a golf car.
