Grey-Bruce OPP is reminding all Off-Road Vehicle operators across the county’s CP Rail Trail that the trail is closed for operators.
As it stands off road vehicles are only permitted on the trail from May 1st-November 30th and anyone caught on the trail can be stopped and charged under the Trespass to Property Act.
OPP are also asking operators to following the laws while operating and to follow a list of safety tips including vehicles being registered, plated and insured and no passenger under the age of 8 and the number occupants being limited to the number of available seating positions.
