Search in North Huron Digs Up Fentanyl

A search warrant in North Huron has led to a seizure of illegal drugs after a traffic stop in Goderich.

On November 12th just after 1:30am, OPP conducted a stop on Victoria Street South with the driver arrested for impaired operation with a search finding a quantity of suspected fentanyl and cocaine.

Further investigation led to a search warrant on Currie Line in North Huron. Police seized an ATV, quantity of suspected fentanyl and a prohibited knife with two arrested. The value of the drugs is over $27,000.

A 46 year old was charged with Operation while Impaired, Possession of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession of Controlled Substance Cocaine.

A 48 year old of North Huron and 32 year old of Huron East was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
