The Town of Saugeen Shores is about to finish their 2022 budget deliberations.
Council is holding meetings this week to go over some of the outstanding items.
Mayor Luke Charbonneau says residents can expect a much higher increase in their property taxes compared to last year.
Charbonneau equates the number of projects that are scheduled for construction next year such as the new recreation facility and pool, and the new industrial business park to growth in the community.
He says growth is allowing them to generate more tax revenue thus enabling more services for their residents.
