Hanover Police charge 52-year-old with Theft of Mail after Cheque Thefts

52 year old male of Hanover had stolen cheques from mailboxes, broken into a church earlier this month.

Hanover Police, through Chief Christopher Knoll, shared news last night of charges of mail theft being laid against a resident of Hanover.

The 52-year-old male has been charged with theft, possession of stolen property, and breach of an undertaking.

Cheques were stolen from mailboxes yesterday. Further investigation determined the suspect also broke into a church earlier in the month.

Further to that he faces break and enter charges.
