South Bruce Grey Health Centre have reopened the mammography program at the Walkerton hospital.
The unit was temporarily closed to allow for the installation of the new Seno Pristina Digital Mammography System.
The new machine features modern technologies that will allow for potential program enhancements, and improve comfort and accessibility of patients and staff.
The $485,000 cost of the project was covered by the Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation.
