The Four County Labour Market Planning Board released their September numbers and they show the unemployment rate has decreased.
The Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region saw a decrease of 0.3 percent points from 3.9% to 3.6%.
This rate matches the lowest rate set in July.
This rate is the lowest among all economic regions in Ontario.
Provincially the unemployment rate sits at 8.1%.
The net employment in the region increased by 1200 with full time games of 700 and part time gains of 600.
